15th of 2003 is the official date for the next Bootleg Horror Movie Marathon. Please IM me or email me ASAP. Tickets are $10
and you MUST bring food. If you don't bring food, an additional $5 will be changed at the door. Also, bring some extra cash

The Cult Films Marathon website has been updated. A tentative list of the films to be shown has been
added. Be sure to check it out. Also, the hit counter made it to 1000 hits today. AWESOME!!! Hopefully all 1000 hits don't show up at my apartment for the
marathon. I only have room for 25-30 people. If I find a venue, maybe more. Let me know if you have any ideas. See ya soon!

EverWorld Productions, in honor of it's final year in business here at Kent before
heading off to Hollywood, is proud to announce that in addition to the already planned Horror Movie Marathon in late October/early
November, EverWorld will be hosting a first ever, , featuring such great cult films as Swingers, Office Space, This is Spinal Tap and much much more. EverWorld is also
in the process of working on a summer marathon (TBD), so keep a look out for further info on both those marathons and the
marathon coming in just a few short months.

Ok, again, it's been a while since I've updated. Sue me, I'm busy. Anyways. A few
of the movies have changed from the list below and the site has gone back to it's bloody glory. I didn't like that cheesy
Halloween crap. A few updates. A local live band may be playing at the marathon. I have not heard an official
word, but my guess is that they will be playing a set of three songs or maybe more just before the marathon begins.
Also, we have a group of local students from Kent who have made a couple of movies. Their newest film, tentatively title
Demon Summer, will be shown at the marathon as the feature film. They have also volunteered to talk about their
work after the film has screened. It's pretty exciting to have filmmakers around the area. I've seen some of thier
work and it's very good. You won't be disappointed. Anyways, if you want to check out thier site, it's www.speedfreakproductions.com . Well, I must be going for now. More updates to come. Later!

Ok, so it's been a while since I've updated. I'm gettin ready to trek off on spring break and
I wanted you all to know that due to circumstances that I can not help, I must cancel this spring's marathon which was planned
to be held April 26-28th. I'm sorry for those who were planning on attending. I am very upset about all this,
but my schedule this spring just wouldn't allow for a free weekend. I toyed with moving the date of the marathon into
the month of March , but I do not have enough time to prepare. I again apologize about this, but I do plan to hold the
fall marathon no matter what. I will also try to update with fun stuff as soon as I have some time. Thanks to
all the fans of this site. We had some folks from the great land of Finland hit this site just a few weeks ago.
Yippie! Hey Finland!! Well, talk to you all soon, have a great spring! More updates to come.

Just wanted to update anyone who visits this site regularly. I'm still around and the marathon

Ok, so some new pics from the marathon have been added thanks to Kati Mallady, and yes, they are real.

to better organize the movie captions, known now as Movie Captions: Past, Present and Future. Here you will find everthing you need. Also, two surprises have again been hidden within the site, be on the

17 people, 17 films, 10 pizzas and 168 cans of soda equal a great time! The marathon was a wonderful
success and I am very happy with all who attended. Thank you very much, your attendance secured that I will continue
holding these marathons on a semester basis, so, with that said I am pleased to annouce the tenative list for the 2nd
Annual "bootleg" Horror Movie Marathon (or Part 3 for those counting) which will be held in late April. This marathon
will most likely be held at Kent Prez Church located across the street from the Math and Science building. Keep
checking back for details. Be sure to check out the Movie Captions page to see what the surprises ended up being if you missed them. Also, check back to see pics from the marathon.

This is the best site for directions. Try to be there around 7:30 since the marathon will begin
promptly at 8. Remember your food for a discount. Please park in the United Methodist Church which is located
right next to my apartment complex. My apartment is on the left and is in the back. If you have any more questions,

All right folks. It's crunch time. From now on, if ya hadn't bought a ticket and were planning
on doing so, I'm gonna start hounding you!! BUY TICKETS!!!Remember, discounts available ($15 to $10 for people in GREAT
need of a discount) for people who are planning on bringing food and/or drink for the whole group. USE THOSE FOOD CARDS
and save cash!! Well, I'll be checking in with ya all this week and next, stalking, err hounding you for your marathon
money. I need to get this ball rolling ASAP and I need your money to do so. Also, on a sad note, the poster concept
has been scrapped. There will be some nifty door prizes though instead. Doorprizes will ONLY be valid for people
who have pre-purchased tickets or people who have CONFIRMED that they are coming. Finally, a moment of silence for that
hip cat Richard Harris (Professor Dumbledore of Harry Potter), who died Saturday of Hodgkin's Disease.
Damn you Hodgkin's!!! God bless you Richard and thanks for some great times at the movies.

Ok, so we didn't get the venue I desired. Ticket price is still $15.00, sorry, but alas, there
are discounts available. Oh well, we got approved to hold it there so we WILL be able to hold the Spring Marathon there.
YAY!! Also, some of you have been requesting info on El Pompador. Who is he? Well, first off, he IS single.
He also has a website for all you ladies wanting to learn more about him. Click here to see El Pompador and ALL the love he has for you as well as all the love you WILL have for him. Hopefully, he will be able to attend
the marathon this year. On a side note, Peter Gabriel cancelled his November 8th concert in Columbus. I think
he is coming to the marathon, but again, I have gotten no confirmation on that. Talk to you all later.

Not much new today. We are about 50% sure we are going to have a venue that isn't my apartment!!!

discounts are available if the $15 is too much for you to pay. People have been asking me about this, so I've decided

Hey there, it's Randy. Ok, so I've decided not to pursue a school venue for
this marathon. It would take too long to get the funding and we would not be able to show the stuff we want to
show. So, we are looking at a few places to hold it, but if all of that does not work out, we will do it again at my
spacious pad. The price has gone up to $15.00. Presale of tickets begins October 10th, so have your cash ready,
I'm gonna start hounding you for it soon. I'm working on tickets and posters for everyone. T-shirts from the old
marathon should be worn by the people who attending the marathon last year. Sorry, there won't be a t-shirt this year.
We are going to try to make posters instead. Well, check back soon for more updates.
***JUNE 2002
So that was then. This is now. Hey there. It's Randy. I've
FINALLY decided to update this page. Well, here's the scoop. The marathon was a semi-success. I say this
because never before had we had such a large gathering of our best friends...EVER. That was not only rewarding,
but fun as well. The only problem is that we lost money too, but that's not a big deal. My friends being there
and having fun was FAR more important to me. Next year, well October, we hope to hold the 2nd Annual, well 1st And A
Half Annual Marathon....get this, ON-CAMPUS. Mike and I are working on forming our own on-campus film society this fall
which means real money from the schools and SOOO much more. Hope to see you there, next year..well this year and a half,
sort of. I'll keep you posted!
