2. Critter 2: The
Main Course (1988)
Rated

over the town. Who will save them? TRIVIA:
Scott Grimes, who plays Brad, is a guest member of Russell Crowes band 30 Odd Foot
of Grunts.
3. Riki-Oh
For info on the king of all films, check out the Riki-Oh page.
***SURPRISE #1
ZOMBIE FILMS:
4. Zombi (1979)
Unrated
A semi-sequel
of sorts to Dawn of the Dead, made in Italy, this relatively unrelated film offers an explanation for why the zombies have begun their reign
of apocalyptic terror upon our world. TRIVIA:
Is known as Zombie 2 in Italy since Dawn of the Dead was renamed Zombie by Dario Argento, the films Italian editor.
5. Day of the Dead (1985)
Unrated
George
A. Romeros official sequel to Dawn of the Dead now has the dead completely controlling the world with only a batch of people
alive to fight them. This time, a team of military men and scientists fight off
the horrible monsters. TRIVIA: Count
how many times, Miguel says Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Its ridiculous.
6.
Army of Darkness:
The Directors Cut (1989)
Unrated
After
the events of Evil Dead 2, Ash is sent back in time where he must once again fight off evil zombies known now as Deadites. If Ash doesnt bring an end to them, the entire world will fall to the horrible monsters. TRIVIA: Earned a PG-13 on its first bought
with the MPAA. They actually added gore to obtain the R.
7. 28 Days Later (2002)
Rated
R
After
a dealy virus called Rage is unleashed, a mass of zombie-like humans take over the planet with only a handful of survivors
left to face the Hell that will be unleashed before them: the rage within themselves. TRIVIA: Featured a drastically
alternate ending that would have changed the entire focus and point of the film. Also, it's directed by Danny Boyle
of Trainspotting and The Beach.

SLASHER FILMS:
8. Friday the 13th Part 3 in 3-D (1982)
Rated
R
On the
very same night of Friday the 13th Part II, Jason begins killing again when yet another group of completely stupid
kids, who should have know better than to go out when a murder is about, meet up with Jason, who know has a nice hockey mask
to hide his horrible visage. TRIVIA: The only Friday film to be shot in 2:35:1
and have Cheech and Chong references.
9. Jaws 3-D (1983)
Rated
PG
Many
years after the events of Jaws and Jaws 2, Mike and Sean Brody have moved on, but when Sean comes to visit Mike in Florida while he is working on the Undersea Kingdom at Sea World, he gets more than he bargained for. A
giant shark attacks the park leaving many people trapped in the park forced to listen to that annoying musak crap. This isnt a good deal, even if the tickets were free. TRIVIA:
The film was originally intended to be a spoof called "Jaws 3, People 0". Even now, some very minor plot points of that
concept remain even though it was dropped during preproduction.
10. Freddy Dead: The Final Night Mare (1991)
Rated
R
Freddy
finally meets his end, well, sort of. He must fight off a group of troublesome
children who are the last children of Elm Street, one of which is his
hitherto unmentioned daughter. TRIVIA: Lisa Zane plays Freddys daughter, she
is also brother to Billy Zane in real life.
11. Halloween H20 (1998)
Rated
R
Basically
a sequel to Halloween 1 and 2 since it does not follow the horrible plots of 3-6, H20 takes place 20 years later with Laurie
Strode still on the run from her brother who has been missing since the night he attacked and nearly murdered her. TRIVIA: Janet Leigh, Jamie Lee Curtiss Mom appears in the film as a school aide, she also drives the same
car as she did in Psycho.
***SURPRISE #3
VAMPIRES AND THINGS:
12.
The Thing (1982)
Rated
R
In the
middle of no where, a group of scientists uncover spaceships whose contents could mean the end of the entire world. TRIVIA: This is the first film in what John Carpenter calls his Apocalypse
Trilogy
13. Fright Night Part II (1989)
Rated
R
Jerry
Dandridge may be dead, but his sister is not. After a few years away from evil,
Charlie finds himself knee deep in fangs once again. The only person who can
save him is old pal, Peter Vincent. TRIVIA: Tommy Lee Wallace, the director,
is a long time friend of Stephen King.
